Studio 9
My dream of having a dedicated studio for art, art retreats and creative gatherings is now a reality.
I am now offering Art Experiences at my new Studio 9. Check out the Classes link for details. In general, I am offering:
Day Long Retreats: The retreats will be 6 hours, generally beginning at 9:30, breaking for lunch (which will be provided) around 12:30 to 1:30 and back to art to complete your art project by 3:30. Retreats fees will be around $60-80 for the day, depending on the medium. You may have to bring a small tool kit or personal ephemera, but basically, everything else will be provided for you. A delicious lunch will also be included. Yay! You just create to your heart’s content!
Art Classes: Classes are usually about 3-4 hours without lunch. They are technique oriented. These class fees will be around $30-40 again depending on the medium. Art Classes will be offered on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You will leave inspired!
Open Studio: Will be offered on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday from 10 to 3 – of course not every day, but open time will be posted on the calendar. Open Studio includes the use of a plethora of tools, paper, paints, doo-dads and gee-gaws, and lots of books for your perusal. Open Studio fees are $9. First time is free. Come on, jump in!
You will need to sign up via e-mail for all art opportunities including Day Long Retreats, Art Classes and Open Studio. This will ensure a better creative time and space for you. You also won’t go hungry if I know you are coming for day-long retreats!
