Contemporary Art Journal at The Stamp Art Shoppe

Each month we’ll discover one or more journaling techniques such as resist, pockets, rubbings hidden secrets and self-portraits to name a few. And using a few prompts, you can get your feet wet and actually journal! Join in anytime or come monthly to get full inspiration. Collaborative journal opportunities are included.

Preparation for Contemporary Art Journal at The Stamp Art Shoppe
This is a prep class for the Contemporary Art Journal which is an ongoing (one year) class. This is required if you are new to the Contemporary Art Journal Class. Prepare to join class by making your own Amazing 16 Page Journal. Prepare several pages and get an overview of ongoing class.

Collage 101 at The Stamp Art Shoppe
Gain an understanding of the basics of collage by experimenting with backgrounds, washes, paint, transfers and paper. Learn about types of paper, adhesives, and medium (ie. paint, inks, pencils) options. When you are done, you will have a small deck of instructions cards for reference and inspiration.

Garden Gate at The Stamp Art Shoppe
Unlatch the lock and take a journey through the garden gate and discover what beauty awaits you. We will build and decorate an accordion style book and use a unique gate enclosure that you will create from chip board. Come on, nature is calling.
