I’m a visual person and I’ve always been passionate about beautiful things. Actually, I’ve always been passionate about most everything! Add to that my love of color, texture, and my imagination and you get one eclectic artist.
I’m not partial to any particular media; I like to make the decision what material I’m going to use as the mood strikes. That’s why I especially like collage. It gives me the opportunity (or challenge!) to utilize paints, old photos, beads, wax, ephemera, ribbon, or whatever turns me on at the time.
My desire to create is a deep and essential part of my spirit. I like to create art so that people can see somthing they didn’t see before, or maybe, just see it in a different way. I don’t want to change the world… I just want to enhance it!
